The Bloomery & Co
Boutique Floral Designers servicing South West Victoria
About Us:
The Bloomery is a boutique flower farm and wedding florist, set in the volcanic plains of Koroit. The team consist of Bianca, the Creative Director, and Millie the events consultant. Together these two are a creative, artistic duo, taking wedding florals to the next level and putting sustainability at the forefront.
Bianca runs The Bloomery from her10-acre micro farm. The proteas and native foliage that grow in these surroundings are a constant source of inspiration. Mixing natives with traditional blooms, such as tulips, roses and dahlias provide a stunning result. Her gift for working with florals allows the foliage to shine, almost as much as the incredible blooms that are handed picked.
Millie is an experienced event manager, florist and stylist and works as an Events Consultant for The Bloomery. Having worked on numerous corporate and public events spanning weddings and parties across the UK, Europe, NZ and Australia, she is able to elevate any occasion to the next level with her visionary thinking and artistic skills.
What we do
Wedding and event florals get our creativity flowing. We love creating each and every design. It’s easy to get lost in the beauty that surrounds us in this area. From the architectural woody natives, to the delicate blossom come springtime.
Your vision becomes our mantra while we delight in bringing your floral dreams to life.
We love utilising shades and colour. Our aesthetic is unstructured and on trend, leading to a unique style in our approach. If you’re after a relaxed garden party look, a romantic vintage style, or a simple beach boho theme - we make your style our style.
We grow many of our own flowers and have an ever-expanding picking garden. We nurture a variety of annual blooms, as well as a mix of perennials, natives, and our all-time favourite South African proteas, which thrive in our volcanic Koroit soil.
Sustainability is at the forefront of all we do. Koroit and surrounds are blessed with a range of local growers, which makes sourcing items that we don’t grow ourselves an absolute pleasure.
